Martin Rally Draws Community Support

Updated: Mar 15

During an event held at the Zollner Golf Course Z Club, area voters and community leaders gathered in support of Dave Martin’s campaign for Mayor of the City of Angola. Martin acknowledged and thanked the hosts of the rally, Chuck and Rita Nedele and Dr. Earl and Melanie Brooks, along with the co-hosts, sponsors, and friends of the event. Martin further stressed that he was appreciative and grateful for the hardworking support of everyone on his campaign committee and for the many kind endorsements from leaders like State Representative Denny Zent, State Senator Sue Glick, former Sheriff Mike McClelland and others.

Surrounded by campaign signs and banners, he shared the progress of his campaign efforts with the audience. Martin said, “during my door-to-door visits with Angola residents, I have heard over and over how pleased they are with the direction our City is going.” As part of his presentation, Martin shared a video highlighting the work he did with Chuck Walker of Univertical Corporation, IDEM, Steuben County leaders and others to develop a plan that resulted in the largest environmental clean-up in Indiana history. Martin also shared his philosophy on leadership, crediting his former boss, Lynn Brooks of Rieke Corporation for being the most influential in impacting the management style he plans to bring to the City.
